Ed has worked in the IT industry for 8 years. Having graduated from the University of Missouri-Rolla with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a B.A. in Physics. From there, he worked as an actuary while earning a degree in actuarial science from Maryville University. He is a member of the Beta Chi chapter of the Kappa Sigma fraternity, where he served as Grand Treasurer.

Ed has excelled at both steel and plastic tip darts, winning several awards playing in one of the Chicago leagues. If Ed could chose any super-power, it would be teleportation. The part of Ed Hassinger would be played by Edward Norton, given they share a name in common, were born 24 days apart and because of ideals in the movie "The People Vs. Larry Flynt".

Ed does not usually refer to himself in the third person.

BEST TV SHOW - BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER

If you have ever seen the show, you know why it is the best TV show ever made. For those who haven't, the show is every bit as good as the title doesn't suggest. Rarely can any TV show provide such humor, action and drama at the same time.

Buffy Summers is the chosen one. She has the sacred birthright to protect the world from the undead and the forces of evil. All the while facing the trials and tribulations of real life problems: high school, breakups and all the other adolescence issues. We watch Buffy handle everyday problems and life and death issues at the same time making us laugh and cry.

Buffy is anything but a "super hero". We watch her, and learn life isn't perfect. We learn having enourmous power means a great deal of hardship and sacrifice, and it still can't solve even some of life's easiest challenges.

BEST VDO GAME CONSOLE - MICROSOFT XBOX

The Microsoft XBOX console was the first to feature a network card and hard drive, thereby opening the gates to online gaming to console users throughout the world.

The XBOX is based on a PC architecture, and marketed towards "older" gamers i.e. not teenagers. This open the door to make better games quicker, and less of the formulaic fighting and driving games. The XBOX hardware upon release rivalled PCs at 4 times it's price.

BEST MOVIE EVER - BACK TO THE FUTURE

Back to the Future was a tremondously popular movie with universal themes. Two best friends, the American inventive spirt and complete freedom to go and do anything you want.

Back to the Future was a rare classic that managed to combine humor and action with a science fiction element. Unlike movies made today it didn't have to rely on flashy special effect, but instead used tension and character development to make a classic movie. BTTF was directed by the most successful director of all time, Steven Spielberg. It was also the first movie to film two sequels at once, at tactic used later by other successful movies i.e. The Lord of the Rings
